4 hours drive to Serengeti with our packed lunch; however you

Gorge). Thereafter you will continue with your safari to Serengeti
National Park with game drive en-route. The park is teaming with
stunning wildlife and it is thought that over 3 million large
mammals roam the plains. The extensive grasslands are interspersed
with kopjes, which are rock outcrop islands in the flat plain,
each with its own wildlife communities.
While in the park you will expect to sight wild animals such as
lions, leopards, cheetah, African cape buffalo, elephants, giraffes,
waterbucks, herds of wildebeests, zebras and other gazelles. Not
only that Serengeti is home to different species of birds more
than 350 species recorded including the famous secretary bird,
marabou stork and sunbirds just a few to mention. In the later
afternoon you will drive to the lodge / camping site for hot shower,
dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Sunrise Adventure in Serengeti National Park.
Very early in the morning you will have a game drive to Serengeti
National Park. The advantage of an early morning game drive is
to see a large amount of different wildlife and a wide change
to see predators hunting a prey by chance. The game drive will
take about 2 or 3 hours before driving back to the campsite for
breakfast and a short rest.
After a short rest you will continue with your game drive to search
for missing game on the previous game drive. Your driver guide
will be searching the wildebeest and zebras migration. Normally
but not certain in April the migration path moves west towards
the Western Corridor of the Serengeti. The long grass plains and
woodlands provide food. At this time of the year it becomes harder
to track the migration due to the same reasons of the heavy rains
and the best place is Seronera and Kusini.
It is the migration of large mammals for which Serengeti it perhaps
most famous. Over 1.5 million wildebeest and about 400,000 zebras
take park in this migration which essentially involves three famous
and important conservation areas, Serengeti and Ngorongoro in
Tanzania and the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya. It is a clockwise
migratory movement during which sequence, the animals start arriving
at the eastern Serengeti short grass plains in late November –
December, where calving of the wildebeests takes place. At the
end of the long rains, the migration heads westwards and then
turns north to reach Masai Mara reserve in late August- September.
In the afternoon you will have time for your picnic lunch at picnic
site follows with a short rest. The game drive will continue up
to late afternoon and thereafter transferred back to the lodge/
Serenora campsite for hot shower, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Early in the morning after breakfast you will have another game
drive in the Serengeti National Park until lunch hours. You will
have hot lunch at the lodge/campsite and thereafter drive from
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area the drive
will take us about 4 hours drive. In the evening you will have
hot shower, dinner and overnight at the lodge / Simba campsite
at the rim of Ngorongoro crater.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Adventure

crater gate ready for descending to the crater floor for a game
drive with your packed lunch.
Ngorongoro crater is the 8th wonder of the world and home to a
spectacular concentration of wildlife. It hosts approximately
30,000 large mammals, including large herds of buffaloes, wildebeests,
elands hartebeests elephants, hippos lions and the endangered
black rhino. Ngorongoro host numerous numbers of birdlife as well
including the resident and migratory birds more that 450 species
have yet been recorded. The landscape of Ngorongoro is appealing
and consists of beautiful vegetation and number of alkaline lakes.
In the afternoon you will ascend to the crater rim and thereafter
